Dochula

Ideally located on the way to Punakha from Thimphu where one can view the beautiful Himalayan mountain range. Tourists are further enthused by 108 Stupa built by the eldest queen mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk and named as Druk Wangyal Chortens to honor the fourth Druk Gyalpo which made the people spiritually attached to the location. It is also a popular spot for the Bhutanese families to pass the holidays and weekends with their packed lunch to enjoy the scenery and take pictures.
